Derrick Williams!
He's got the same problem Michael Beasley had. But i dont think he has Beasley's offensive skills

Better rebounder and defender than Beasley though. I think he'll be a 4, where Beasley is more of a 3.

He averaged 26/12 as a freshman

He did, he was a much better rebounder than Williams in college, but he plays out on the perimeter too much and shows no effort on rebounding in the NBA. I'm assuming he's going to be a better rebounder than Beasley because it's hard to be much worse.

Another brilliant move by the worst run franchise in sports.
honestly if they were truly the worst, would they even have griffin, gordon, and jordan?

They don't get credit for Griffin, he was the consensus number one pick. Gordon and especially Jordan were good picks, but acquiring good, young talent isn't difficult when you're losing as much as they are. Developing it into a winning team and keeping them around is where they're failing. But I get what you're saying, Minnesota has been much worse than the Clippers at drafting the past few years.

Why in the world would we move the pick? We need young prospects and the rookie wage scale makes it dirt cheap.
Because I know who your coach is. He doesn't play rookies much unless they come in pretty much polished to a sheen already. He'll take Irving, but if he can get a solid vet for that #4, I think he'd want the vet.

I would take Irving #1 but if you take Williams you can get another highly rated PG at 4 (Knight, Walker).

This is why I would take Williams 1st.
