That would require Jr to actually be a great driver. Hopefully, with Jr starting 1st and Edwards 3rd, these 2 will take each other out on lap 1.
Kahne makes a statement in his first race with Red Bull and Toyota by winning the Shootout. BTW, the Red Bull paint schemes this year look horrible

Same here. My wife and I watch the NHRA finals every Sunday night. That is one sport in which TV does it absolutely no justice at all. Those cars are fricking amazing in person. Been to the Mopar Mile High Nat.'s in Denver in '07 and we went to Indy last September for the U.S. Nationals.

Really? 7 laps and he already has engine problems? Hell his engines at RPM lasted at least 11 laps. Cant wait for him to take over the 5 car next year and get in some quality equipment finally

Since we have a few more NASCAR fans on right it seems, I would like to invite anyone who hasnt joined Death Valley Racing yet to join. The topic about the fantasy league is just a couple topics down.
It is a pretty good league as 1st place has still been up for grabs come race 36 of the season. For those that would only really play part of the season, it has a spring, summer, playoff(fall), and full season segment winners. Spring and Summer segments are 13 weeks each while the playoff segment takes place during the 10 Chase races

Basically, its a free fantasy league for NASCAR. It is divided into A drivers, B drivers, and C drivers. You get to pick 2 A driver, 4 B drivers, and 2 C driver each week but can only start 1 A driver, 2 B drivers, and 1 C driver come race day. Pretty easy right? well you only get to start a driver 9 times during the season, so it comes down to who can manage and start the right drivers at the right time and not use up someone too quick. You usually have to submit your line up for each week by thursday night.
To keep some people interested, such as the ones who will leave once football season starts, it breaks the NASCAR season into 3 segments of scoring and a full season scoring. It gives everyone something to shoot for.

Already have my vaction time in for Fall Bristol. Camping and drinking with the boys for 4 days can't be beat. Throw in some races and it's a great "guys only" weekend!

Well I got my wish, Jr and Edwards are out. hate it for Smith and Conway. Those teams cant afford to lose too many cars. Too bad they had to take out Logano as well.
