Well, it is hard to say. It is causing more wrecks, but minus Gordon flipping, the wrecks haven't been that bad [easy for me to say not going +190 mph]. The real question is whether the changes to keep the cars from getting airborne and bump draft are safer than the shite that is happening. I mean Gordon still flipped, but he didn't really get airborne.

See, that is the other side of the coin. Nascar wanted to prevent bump drafting, and maybe creating a huge negative incentive for doing so, will have a better effect than trying to find the perfect car to keep drivers from doing it. Once they learn that touching the other car will cause an accident, maybe they will stop.
Bump drafting is just so ingrained into the Nascar drivers head, which is weird because you don't really see that in any other form of racing.

It only takes a small bump. So far the "bumper" was only affected once. The "bumpee" has been the ones getting screwed.
I suspect that we will see the spoiler height increase and the bumper height decrease by next Sunday.
