Trucks will be the best race for this year, they usually are anyways but given the cup situation it’ll be an even more pronounced difference

Are we supposed to post about the truck race in this thread or the thread made for the race?

Confusion!

Xfinity race starts at 1:30 CST today. Might be the last exciting racing of Speedweeks.

This is an overreaction even by TD standards.

Is that Earnhardt driving a Toyota?

Why are you complaining about single file at Daytona? They’ve always run it that way.

Even back in the 80s and 90s when they would run “single file,” they still had the ability to pass. Now, they don’t pass, they just stay in line. If you look at the early thru mid 2000s there was actual pack racing, where cars moved around, could pass, etc. (drivers then could also manage to do that without wrecking every 10 laps).

Keselowski’s roof hatch came off. He’s driving a convertible.

That restart got screwed up. Three guys were lined up three wide.

Wtf is wrong with the guys in the back? Could’ve followed Elliot or Reddick who kept trying to go with a few laps left but instead wait until the end like they always do and it’s way too late. Happy for Annett but damn.

Saw one NASCAR media member say that one of the contending drivers from today’s race (I believe it to be Chase Elliott) told him, “no one wants to race.”

Not sure if that was just the case in the Xfinity series, or if that is also an issue in the Cup race. I think the Cup issues have to do primarily with the package.
