that match pissed me off as the US choked away so many chances...
The Irish team was not strong and was our big chance for a scalp...
And I watched the Rugby rising documentaries and they spent way too much time on Cleaver, who in my opinion should not be the captain.
Nostradamus...go to some NRL matches when you are there...I follow the Dragons who are not playing well this year
But I did win a signed ACT Brumbies jersey this past weekend at the Australian Embassy in DC

Sweet pics heypaul, great quality!
Yeah I wouldn't be surprised at all if that Irish side loses to Canada Saturday.
State of Origin is going on right now. He show go watch those matches, highest level of play in Rugby Leauge.

I didn't get to see that Saturday but the torrent for it got put up Sunday and I watched it on Monday.
Thanks anyway though!
Hope we beat Tonga Saturday. I read they already have 10K tickets sold.

I could have sworn we played South Africa in Houston around 2002 or 2003.

Maybe so I'm not 100% sure

And for history of rugby here..they Springboks then flew to Chicago and came to the Lions clubhouse out of respect for former Springboks Coach Kitch Kristie who coached the Chicago Lions in the 80s...

Didn't our U20 lose to SA 98-0 the other day?

Figured they were in for a long day when England played South Africa super close.
HeyPaul - Yeah, got a mudhole stomped in them by SA. Watched the game online at work. Was like our guys weren't even close to being the same level. They were faster, stronger, bigger, more drilled, higher rugby IQ, etc. You name it, they were better.

same perspective on the USA's narrow defeat last weekend:
quote:
In the last ten years, no Tier I nation has scored fewer than three tries against the USA, until last Saturday. For the first time since 1920, the USA held a Tier I nation to no tries.
In the last ten years, only one Tier I nation has beaten the USA by less than a try (Samoa in 2007), until last Saturday.
