You didn't have Louisiana history classes in school? We had to do papers on different parishes and shite.

Say what you will while you watch BR and NOLA crumble under culcha and progressive leadership, but NELA is thriving and will be for some time to come. Have fun with SWB and Mitch

That's all it takes? Not knowing where a north LA town is on the map?

Let's ask it another way. Can you identify any city anywhere on a map that is north of I-10? If the answer is no, then yes, you are in fact an idiot.

Or I've never been to Ruston and have no business there.

Not knowing where Ruston, Louisiana is while living here your entire life is embarrassing. I am sorry but it is

Knowing it is north of I-10 seems like all you really need to know about Ruston.

To be fair, the circle jerk on the website is to say this isn't Louisiana

I'm being serious. I didn't know the location of Ruston was such a crucial indicator of intelligence.

I've never been to a lot of places or had business in them and I can identify them on a map.

Being/looking like a dumbass is not something I find to be a redeeming quality. You may disagree.

That's not fair. No one in southern LA needs to know a damn thing about northern LA, but northern LA has to know about southern LA. Baton Rouge and New Orleans are a given, Lafayette is the city where the highways meet, and Lake Charles is opposite New Orleans.

Me too. Just not Ruston.

Ruston has never been a part of my life. It's never received an ounce of my attention until now. Apparently it's very important when determining intelligence.

know what you're trying to say, but this is a pretty comical take

I'm definitely exaggerating but the point still stands that you're a complete dumbass if you grew up in Louisiana and can't point to the general area that Ruston or Monroe/WM is on a map. That's like me saying I have no clue where lake Charles is

If that city held the states 2nd or 3rd most popular university could you?

The Texas equivalent would be having no idea where Lubock is.

This thread has really gone off the rails, but it's humorous nonetheless.
