So 222 million people saw at least one minute of one NFL game during the season? I believe it, but it's not a particularly telling stat.

People who watch the first half of the Super Bowl to see the commercials don't count as NFL fans. In a lot of ways the Super Bowl transcends the NFL, and even transcends football. It's an international spectacle.

Living in Ohio, Myself and my family/friends would say
College > NFL, by quite a bit.
