Harden as a point guard manipulating the defense and getting his big an alley oop
Or his snipers a wide open 3 is a sight to behold. It is no surprise at all when you see they are the top offense in nba history. He makes it look effortless. Genius level hoops IQ.
I totally agree on Harden’s effectiveness. I just disagree with the “Thing of beauty” part.

I have said this before but it is like me going to a fancy art show somewhere. I will be like wtf this looks like scribble scratch. But someone who really knows their art will see it and have a tear come down their cheek. They will be blown away. That is harden. He is not for the casual fan. You got to really know the game to fully appreciate what he is doing. And this is not a shot at you.

I can appreciate an acrobatic layup more than a dunk. Will always prefer watching the smaller guys play.
Being blessed with +6'7 height and posterizing anyone in your way is not as much of a skill imo. Especially in a league that calls every ticky tack foul.
So then Zion would be your answer.

Oh I appreciate what he does. I just don’t like watching it. There are 3 players that are proven to make their teams contenders just by being on the team. Those current players are LeBron, Harden, and CP3.

Sure, put him up there.
He can be very crafty at the rim without dunking. Hopefully he develops more range on his shot in due time.

He just needs a 3pt shot to save his legs and the pels need some spacers. No one is stopping him. They know he's going to drive from 18 ft out and they still can't. He's Shaq like force with a handle- that's Rick Carlisle's words, not mine.
He fricking crossed up some sorry Celtic big last night and finished against two huge guys at the rim. He has elite touch and has more in his bag in post moves than anyone I or you have ever seen at his age.
If this dude gets better, even marginally better, he's going to be a top 5 player for a decade. And maybe I'm underselling him at that.

rookie of the year Ja Morant

He’s gonna have to have a bigger impact on winning for that to happen. The pels are 12th in the west and every team below them is tanking. They are last out of the teams who want to win this season. They have GOT to be better for big Z to be recognized as a top 10 / top 5 kinda player.

All in due time, they're a young team. David Griffin even admitted that point Zion being so good so early at running the offense has forced them to retool and rethink how they're gonna construct the team. Right now NAW looks like he's turning a corner, Kira looks like a really nice backup pg, etc. The pels are in great position and will take the Rox usual playoff spot for the next few years.

Luka, Zion and Kyrie. Kyrie has the best handles in the game and is so smooth around the basket. He is a total wack job, but he’s fun to watch.
Luka is the best player in the game and Zion is a freak of nature.

I haven't caught most of the games recently, but his debut against the spurs where he hit four 3's in a row showed he has it in him. If he could spot up shoot like that consistently, yea he'd be unstoppable.
I agree he has a great handle and does finish soft at the rim, with freaky backspin and finger rolls. Which I can appreciate even more, considering there's no limitations on who he could posterize.

Never seen anything like it. I think the Carlisle comments the other night basically put the basketball world on notice.

I feel it’s safe to say that Zion’s 3pt shooting is good enough that they will not just sag off of him a lot to prevent him from driving. He can knock down an uncontested 3 at a high enough clip IMO.
