Everson Griffin and Mays (drop) will go in the first round

Both these players stock are falling rapidly.

No they're not.

Mays is 2nd rated Safety.
Griffen is 3rd rated DE.

It's not even close between Mays and the next SS/FS

And it's not close between Griffen and Wootton (who is rated 4th)

Thank God you're not drafting for any team.

Not bad, however, the Saints will be picking 32nd for your information.

was talented... but lazy as hell.

I never really understood why people thought he was lazy. He was the most active defensive player on the field and played on special teams. He was always so hyped up they had to calm him down.

Nope, he's dropped to 3rd behind Earl Thomas on pretty much every mock draft since the Senior Bowl and a lot before that.

carlos Dunlap
Jason pierre-paul
everson griffin
corey wooton

5. Kansas City: Rolando McClain, LB, Alabama

This pick makes no sense.

7. Cleveland: Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma
They have much bigger needs.

8. Oakland: CJ Spiller, RB, Clemson
did darren mcfadden die?

12. Miami: Carlos Dunlap, DE, Florida
this makes no sense.

14. Seattle: Earl Thomas, CB, Texas
They need a FS not a SS

19. Atlanta: Golden Tate, WR, Notre Dame
The falcons are all defense in rd.1

21: Cincinnati: Patrick Robinson, CB, FSU
one of the best young cb's pick another one?

22: New England: Devin McCourty, CB, Rutgers
They have no need for more cb's.

24. Philadelphia: Sergio Kindle, LB, Texas
he is only a 3-4 olb

27. Dallas: Dan Williams, DT, Tennessee
The cowboys already have one of the best 3-4 NT

30. Minnesota: Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma
Shiancoe is turning into a great TE.

5. Kansas City Chiefs - Rolando McClain, LB, Alabama

15. New York Giants - Navorro Bowman, LB, Penn State
way to high for him.

16. San Francisco 49ers - Earl Thomas, S, Texas (from Carolina)
They need a SS not a FS

Earl Thomas and Morgan Burnett are both better players than Mays and don't be surprised when they are drafted before him.

Not to mention they play different positions.
Mays is a SS. Thomas and Burnett are both FS.

He does have a little bit of Ed Reed in him.

So Adam, I take it you are looking into getting into the scouting/GM business, eh?

That's the advice of a former NFL scout and how he got into the NFL. I follow him on twitter
