Interest in Norris is picking up, according to Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe (on Twitter). The Orioles are in the mix, and Cafardo reports that the Braves have re-joined the talks as well.

I honestly don't think Wren is dumb enough to make a move for Norris. I may be wrong, but that would be really dumb.

I mentioned this in another thread, but thought the Tigs did fairly well in the deadline. Looking forward to seeing Iglesias at this point.

If ATL gets norris he would be better than Maholm at least. I hope Wren could pull something out better in the last few hours though.

I disagree. I don't see Norris as an upgrade to Maholm.
Although, hopefully we don't need either in our rotation as long as Wood and Beachy pitch well.

Outside of a handful of starts last year and early this year, Norris has been better, cheaper and he's younger.
ETA: Still don't really want him unless we're giving up something like what we gave for Scott Downs.
