So you boot Oswalt and replace with Feldman and Ogando. Ogando as a four is pretty good. Feldman has been pitching better than a five lately.
You'd have confidence in them once the playoffs get cranking? I'd rather deal Perez and get someone you can better depend on rather than throw Feldman in games that matter.

I'd deal Perez too because I'm not convinced he is any good. But I wouldn't touch Olt or Profar/Probar.

I have some confidence in Ogando. More in him than Darvish. Feldman was actually pretty good in the post season last year. It comes down to if his ball is sinking or not.

He's got big upside, but you won't get much back without dealing one of the big prospects. He has by far the biggest chance of busting out of the big 3, so he'd be the one I'd move.

They need to find a way to get Darvish's BB/9 to come way down. Was that a big problem for him overseas? I assume it's more of him dabbling and trying to not come over the plate vs. just bad command but I haven't watched a ton of him this year.

The fact that the Rangers haven't traded Perez yet for some pitching help is laughable.

Feldman is gonna be Feldman. I am not sure if Oswalt holds up. The Rangers need another arm but not raping the minors for said arm.

It's like having blue balls. It's painful to watch him. He walks way too many. His walks were not a concern in Japan.

I think he just has trouble focusing at the beginning of his starts and figuring out what's working. If he gets through 5 unscathed, he can pitch deep into games.

Very inconsistent.

That's your opinion.

Tell me someone that was worth it. Hamels and Greinke would have been. But that's about all. I'm not taking on $95 fricking million from the Phils for a middle aged Cliff Lee without a $50 million subsidy.

He's managed to be a lot better at home than on the road, so you may at least have that going for you come playoff time.

So Perez is worth trading only if you get an ace in return? Are you fricking nuts?

Where did I say that?

I said he was worth it for Hamels or Greinke. I'd trade him for Lee, but only for the subsidy.

But out of all the rumored pitchers out there, that is all.

Who would you trade him for? And please don't say Shields. He sucks.

Could have easily won AL Cy Young last year if not for Verlander.

Where did I say this? Because I don't want to fricking deal Perez for someone shitty like Shields?

I said I was willing to include him for Hamels or Greinke.

I would only trade Profar for King Felix.

I would have possibly included Olt in a deal for Greinke, but that's about all (Hamels too, of course).

Look at his other five seasons or so. He's had one great year.
