It looks like John Mozeliak is really going to stick with his low hangin fruit moves and be done with it.

Just horrible to not give your team help, and try to inject garbage into the lineup, Hope and pray it works.

If i'm a Cardinals pitcher, i knee him in the groin for not getting them some support for the offense. The pitching eventually will level out, and with the innings some of the guys are going, they will be on fumes.

I miss Jocketty on deadline days, he could get deals done for star players.

No, he wouldn’t. Took BP with the Reds after he was picked by Cavs. Could not hit, at all.

JAF @AdamF_04
@johnfayman any chance on reds picking up Lebron James? He'd be a great bat.

Great clubhouse guy. That goes a long way when you've got a dugout full of youngsters.

fricking rookie mistake, man.

A good clubhouse guy wouldn't have let you forget that.

The Cardinals are like a thousand games over .500, relax Seabiscuit.

Robert Murray of BaseballEssential.com reports that the Dodgers have been shopping Alex Wood to "everyone."
There had been some thought that the Dodgers would flip Wood after acquiring him from the Braves and it appears it still may happen. They have been linked to Yovani Gallardo despite having a full rotation, so it seemed like the front office was up to something. Wood is under team control through 2019, so they'd be able to get a bunch for him.
Interesting.
