MLB players and their bling during games.

In youth sports, the first thing the refs do is make sure none of the tykes are wearing necklaces and bracelets. Safety concerns.

I'm a little surprised MLB doesn't do the same. Sooner or later someone is going to get a hand mangled in one of those chains. Or chocked, cut, etc.

I don't care, but I would think the owners might.

MLB is the one sport where bling makes sense IMO.

I've always thought it was weird how big these chains are that they wear. It seems like it would be very annoying to wear.

This season Yoenis Cespedes has his diamond necklace break while running to second against the Braves. Huge diamonds all over the infield. Even the 2nd base ump was helping him pick them up.
