A lot of the players you mentioned before were established already... Right now Might, Pujols, Molina, Wainwright, CC, and maybe Votto would be considered "established" stars and they don't carry the same weight as the ones you mentioned

Interestingly enough, I remember seeing some of those guys in exhibition games against some of the local farm teams (Redbirds with St. Louis before it became the Bats with the Reds) or even against each other here in Louisville. The Cardinals and White Sox played a couple at old Cardinal Stadium and those things would be absolutely packed out.

I think maybe that's where there is a disconnect. You don't really see stuff like that anymore to spread the brand within the continental US.
