will never understand how south Louisiana lost the Astros and instead get the Rangers

South Louisiana really shouldn’t be getting any teams

It's terrible for the league and for the game itself - end it!

Teams are paid a lot of money for exclusive broadcast rights in nearby territories. Either pay to watch it through a provider or don’t watch.
My grandpa lives in New Orleans and is an Astros fan. Astros games are on Space City Sports Network, which isn’t offered on cable in New Orleans. If he got the MLB extra innings package, the Astros are blacked out. Even when the Astros play on TBS in a nationally televised game, he can’t watch and gets a message on TBS saying something to the effect of “due to MLB blackout restrictions, this game is unavailable”.

No matter what he does, MLB is literally preventing him from watching the Astros in every way possible. On purpose.

It’s so incredibly stupid. Why would they not want fans to watch their sport? So instead of watching MLB baseball, which he’d like to do, he’ll be watching something else.
