It certainly frees up Lebron some but Miami is already have trouble on the offensive glass and this is going to make that worse.

Do you mean getting offensive rebounds or limiting San Antonio's offensive rebounds?
Miami's been getting 9 off rebounds/game which is right on track of their season average.
They've struggled keeping San Antonio off the glass the past 2 games.
