To be fair the Clutch City defense was top 5 in the 2014-15 season and Howard missed half of the year.

Where'd they rank in the pace of play numbers?

Any defensive stats that adjust for pace of play would give HOU a boost since they play at a faster pace than most.

That's what I wanted to see. Where they shake out in possessions per game...

I don't get how he keeps getting jobs. Phoenix was built perfectly for his system and he still couldn't get to a finals.

Incorrect. Been over that with your dumbass before, too.

Ain't that the truth. Spurs beat them pretty handily in the 2005 WCFs (Suns won 62 regular season games) on the way to the title, but I was always a little afraid to play that team. I remember thinking that Amar'e was unstoppable in some of those games.

SA completely changed their style of play in 05 (and 07) to beat those Suns teams.

Basically tried to make Amare/Nash beat us by themselves on O and blitzkrieg with our own O.

well how many coaches DO make the finals in their coaching career? 5% at most? Not making the finals doesn't mean he isn't or can't be an above average coach.

Pre-knee injury Amare was unstoppable.

and you had also been over with my dumbass that the big 3 weren't washed up! See how that went GTFO. Pop is past his coaching prime the last 2 years proves it.

First of all, way to deflect. The main reason 2015 SA was mired in the standings that season were some pretty persistent injuries to key pieces all year (RE: Leonard/Mills/Splitter). By the time all three of those guys were healthy, it was late in the year and the standings were logjammed.

Secondly, I never said the Big3 weren't washed up. In fact, I made the argument all year that SA was well past depending on those three to be productive to win.

You're a lying dumbass. Per par.

And you were wrong. They did need those guys to be productive to win...To bad for you, good for everyone else, you were wrong. And I'm 99% sure I can find you comparing those guys numbers this season to their career numbers and being baghdad bobbin' that there was nothing to worry about.

Enough of the grab arse between you two.

How do you feel about D'Antoni. Does he put Houston over the top?

Let me see who they can sign in the offseason. Over the top? Unlikely. Golden State is an all time great team and they aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

They won plenty without them. To the tune of their highest win total ever. Looks like I was right on that count.

Never said they'd win a title or anything (in fact, I didn't think they'd beat GS and didn't take OKC for granted), just that they were beyond the Big3 needing to be the lion's share in order to contend. Hell, they were past that by 2014

Link, then, since you're so sure

Never did such. You're pulling shite straight out of your arse once again.

sigh....:::

He's actually looked pretty dang good. Best he's played and healthiest he's been since 2013. He's turned that burst on a lot more often this season after playing more gingerly the past couple years. He's shooting his highest percentage in 3 years (despite taking fewer shots), and his assists have ticked up from last year, as well. Just need him to stay healthy.

Parker has been playing above his average the past few years, and is far more efficient and a better defender than years past.

Parker is Aldridge's peer, and has been balling this year.

LULLZ reckon that's enough for now.

Great, now do Ginobili and Duncan

Also, point out where saying that the window wasn't closed in the midst of an historic regular season campaign is tantamount to saying they'd win it all.

Jesus, Boom. At least try not to be obtuse with this shite.

no thanks on digging through more of your garbages posts I proved my point in the last one. although I did get a good chuckle out of posts I made all season long that rang true come playoffs time that you and your equally dim witted brethren acted like was the most crazy thing you had ever read in your life.
