The U's kids are coming of age, but why recruits would want to play in a half-empty stadium in a medicore conference is beyond me..

The kids that grew up wearing the U jersey as a kid, idolizing the former Cane greats, back when they had great Notre Dame, Wash, Okla, TAM, LSU, Penn St, UCLA,etc..teams on their former Independent status schedule was one thing..

But, that was then, this is now, even the most recent Miami dynasty was almost a decade ago, Miami is still a long ways off from their '80s heyday, and keep lukewarm ACC company now.

It would be nice to see Mia and FSU somewhat slow UF's domianation of the state in recruiting, by regaining some momentum.

The Massey ratings which is a composite of all ratings combined has 3 ACC teams rated higher than LSU. Welcome to football 2008.
