Second straight game Thunder look like shite in the first quarter and awesome in the second.

He only does it when he actually gets fouled. Not a arm swing through. Ripping your arms through a defender should never be a foul. A lot of Euro players over act on fouls though.

Whoa there. Gasol definitely initiates contact and "creates" fouls sometimes that really aren't fouls at all. He's a master at it.

I agree with this, and I'm really curious to see how Memphis approaches guarding him. There were a number of stretches in the Houston series where Durant just didn't exist on offense for OKC because they so effectively (Houston, I mean) denied him the ball. Memphis has a much better team defense than Houston, though, so they might not have to go to such extremes. The constant double and sometimes triple teams between the 3 point line and halfcourt were just not fun to watch.

If he drives to the basket he does. 95% of NBA players do that, who doesnt want a plus one? 1% of NBA players do an arm swing through to try to get a foul though.

It was. Both fan bases are similar in their passion for their respective teams too.
