No, but I do understand it. It will be up to Ohio State to determine Meyer's future there.

That's correct. Title IX and/or the US government don't fire anyone. People can be fired for violations because a university doesn't want to give the appearance they weren't tough on the violations. OSU can say Urban completely violated their policy but they DGAF and they're keeping him as HC if they so choose.

Or they could put him on paid vacation over the weekend, give the hysterics time to cool off, then come back and say that while the allegations weren't substantiated Urban should have reported it. He will be given a PowerPoint presentation (about 10 minutes max) and he will be suspended for the first series against Rutgers.

Yes, that's also plausible.

Meyer will stay because mcmurphy lied. He'll get suspended or fines but he'll stay. It'll blow over in a year. Rival fans will be pissed.

“I got documents, texts, emails, photos, and basically it showed the wives of the entire coaching staff knew what had been going on. In these text message conversations it showed that Urban Meyer knew about this,” McMurphy told ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt.

Van Pelt then pressed McMurphy about his claim that the text messages show Meyer knew about the 2015 domestic assault allegations his former wide receivers coach Zach Smith was facing, a charge which the Buckeyes coach denied last week. McMurphy then acknowledged he did not have any direct evidence and that his assertions were based on what he believed the coach was likely to have known.

, the Bucknuts post says that the entire department knew about the allegations, but now Urban is getting a slap on the wrist because McMurphy jumped to a conclusion?

I actually think OSU will investigate it properly and make their own decision rather than relying on a Facebook post.

If even half of that stuff is true, the only story here is that Courtney Smith is crazy AF, and her husband was, too.

Why? They only need to come to the stickied thread on MSB to get all the facts...

That’s not lying. That’s conjecture.
