he doesn't want needles in him up until the fight
the guy is a prizefighter and he's afraid of needles
you know what that sounds like?
Big, bad Manny is afraid of needles!

So why does Manny need to be tested before and after and why is it up to Floyd?

What the casual fan doesn't know is that in boxing PROTECT YOURSELF AT ALL TIMES!!!
As someone who HAS BOXED, you tap gloves, and step back after a time in like that. Mayweather threw a punch. It's a rough sport, but there is still sportsmanship there. That's something that Mayweather has never had.

Larry Merchant called him on the sucker punch and then he got pissed. I think he should have sucker punched Larry. Actually, I am surprised that there wasn't a brawl in the ring about the sucka' punch.

You Mayweather fans are jokes

I'm surprised they sent Larry in to interview him.

who said he's afraid of needles?
i just said he doesn't want them. hate doesn't equal afraid.
why is this on money's terms anyway is stupid, he's obviously stalling the fight for more hype.

You really don't understand culture do you?

So you agree to buy my car, I pull out and say I need an extra 1000 dollars. You gonna keep going up to every demand? Really, why is it that important that he be tested before hand?
Because people think he has juiced in the past. Apparently Money might be one of them. I for one think it's odd that he can jump around weight classes like he does. If he didn't and has nothing to hide, take the tests, it's no big deal if Manny is so set on proving he's better than Floyd.
Also, watched that clip and noticed this time that Ortiz tried to hug, hit hands, apologize like 5 times starting right after the headbutt and ending right before the KO. Mayweather got pissed

its funny as shite all you people praising each others asses for saying manny is a pussy for not doing the test.. when in fact manny did finally agree to the testing.. but talks still died down..
even tho no other boxer demands such testing.. and some of you people act like manny has never had blood drawn before. manny also always has blood drawn immediately post-fight.
so here lets do some more praising
you ignorant fricks.

hows how far the sport has sunk. What happened tonight (although dirty, disrespectful, and pathetic) will spark a storm of interest and conversation for months to come. Tonight was a good night for boxing.
Not at all. We're far too removed from the days of three analog major networks, fifty cable channels, and just HBO, Showtime, Skinemax.
Too far removed from an American Heavyweight with real skills ruling the HW division. No household namebrand Americans like Leonard, Spinks, and Hagler(sans Floyd whom never fights Pacman)to bring us the best fight of the decade type tilts provided by Tinidad-Vargas or Morales-Barrera, etc..whom 99% of Americans haven't a clue whom they are.
America now has football games nightly on flat screens, 300 channels to choose form, UFC/MMA, etc..
The Filipino rebels and military may stop fighting and kumbaya for Pacman fights..but sadly..most of America has left the sport behind regardless whom is fighting. Has a Warholian Fifteen around the water cooler on a Monday at best..then forgotten.

What tha frick does culture have to do with testing a fighter to see if he's clean?
Help me? I'm lost on that one!

The more I hear Mayweather in his interviews and shows: I honestly don't think there is even the smallest of doubts in his mind that he wouldn't crush Manny. I'm not sure if he's right. However, I just don't think Floyd's ducking him because he's scared.
Also, I want to say that Larry Merchant absolutely crossed the line. I think this will be the last time we see him with HBO. Merchant should have studied the tape of the Mayweather/Brian Kenny interviews and known how to get the response that he wanted out of Floyd.
Finally,I watched tonight's fight from an illegal stream. However, the next Mayweather fight - I will be paying for it on the big screen and having a bunch of people over.

I think this whole thing was orchestrated for another fight. Maybe Larry fights Mayweather.

Listen to what you are saying, how do you gain that type of speed and power, and maintain it while moving up in weight class. P.E.D's. lol now thats cheating! lol
manny didn't just over night get to the status he is at today. his progression has been legit. go and actually watch manny's fights from the david diaz fight to now.. and his weight. he has always had speed, but he was purely a one handed fighter coming up.
