The Hornets, Grizz, and Suns at full strength would take the Mavs out before game 7. Face it sport, Cuban built the roster for the regular season, not for the playoffs.

The Hornets have won 2 of 3 against the Mavs already. I'm not certain that the Mavs would win a season 7 game series against us. Hornets have given the Mavs fits for years now.

Congrats on 2 wins by a combined 3 points

Mavs would steamroll the Whores in 5, 6 tops.

And Dallas' only win was by 3 points. As usual, you make a poor point and back it up with an emoticon.

Yea, the Suns wouldn't beat the Mavs. Hornets and Grizz certainly could though.

Another dynamite comeback, but instead of GHAZI, it's from his little bitch boy. I guess you got to go where he goes, right?

Neither would the Grizzlies.

I'll give you that the Hornets pose the biggest match-up problem to the Mavs besides Denver, but this is all a huge knee-jerk reaction. It makes all of these clueless Hornets fans look dumb.

The Mavs have lost 3 games out of their last 22 or something like that. 2 of those losses were on buzzer beaters. People need to watch some basketball.

If you think the Grizzlies or Suns would beat the Mavs in a 7-game series, then you have no idea what you are talking about.

But that's par for the course for you.

Maybe you should watch how the Mavs have faired in past playoffs even after having a great regular season. They are not built for 7 game series with one team

Yet they have won 7-game series before. Do you ever have a point?

You know absolutely nothing about basketball.

Mavs won 39 of 41 in 06-07, and we know how that turned out.

Mavs go on massive streaks in the regular season each year. People need to learn some history.

You really got no intelligent comeback do you? The Mavs are renowned in the NBA as playoff choke artists. You may want to take off your blue and black glasses, your mouth off Dirk's dick, and your finger out of GHAZI's arse.

You sir are delusional

/thread and /Mavs

Mavs have really only choked once in the postseason, in 2007. It wasn't a good match-up for them, but no excuse for losing to the 8 seed. In 2006, they may have "choked" in the finals, but they certainly didn't choke throughout the playoffs. For example, winning a game 7 on the road in San Antonio.

Last year, the Mavs were the higher seed. But I wouldn't call that a big time choke. All 8 playoff teams in the West were over 50 wins. The difference between seeds 2-8 really wasn't that much.

Point is, Mavs always perform well in the regular season, only to crash and burn in the playoffs and make an earlier than expected exit. It's something that will always happen with a old and soft Dirk as the first option and a supporting cast that probably has an average age of over 30.

The sooner you accept that, the better.

I never said that the Mavs "choke," at least not in this thread. Just pointing out that these streaks are nothing new, and to say that they are safe in the first round is not a given. I can see numerous teams beating them in a 7 game series.

Are the Mavs a solid team? Absolutely. They run great sets and get good looks for their shooters. They give up open looks for better looks. They seem to play well as a team. That being said, I can see a good bit of that being neutralized in a series where a team can potentially see that 7 times in a row.

Again, I'm not saying the Hornets are a better team than the Mavs, because we're not. But head to head, I definitely like our chances. We give the Mavs fits year after year.
