This is the biggest thing. How the frick do you know other guys weren't "cheating" as well and just weren't caught on camera?

What is more unfair about it is think about who the camera is going to show the most often? The best players.

So, while all the players are technically playing by the same rules, a few are under hyper officiating because the TV camera will follow allt heir shots, while the other golfers won't be nearly as scrutinized. I don't think that is right either. Its like an NBA ref only watching 3 of the players on the court.

What number did the jackass call? 1-800-Masters???

The real problem is that it is extremely unfair to the more popular players, with Tiger being the highest on this list.

They show ALL his shots. A lot of times even when he is playing bad and barely in contention.

When Rory wasn't paying very well early yesterday, they barely showed him at all. Maybe he broke some tiny rule while off camera. Doesn't matter, no couch potato can call it in........fricking ridiculous.......

Yeah I want to call in just to talk to some dude at Augusta. That seems cool. I don't even have a player breaking a rule to bitch about.

Does this just occur in the masters?

No as previously mentioned someone called in on one of the other major tournaments a year or so ago about a bunker.

Golf is the only sport where you call most penalties on yourself and viewers can call in an effect the outcome.

It has happened many other times throughout golf history that a viewer has affected the score of a round. Every golf tournament that is televised gets these couch golf junkies that call in on every tournament.

I don't even watch much golf and I knew about this rule. It's fairly common. Brian Regan even did a great bit about it...some golf Tournament got caught using fake birds chimed in
