Marlins Man lost 1.5 million

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) Marlins Man got taken deep.
A bookkeeper pleaded guilty this week to embezzling $1.5 million from South Florida lawyer Laurence Leavy, who often sits in the best seats at major sporting events nationwide bedecked in his bright orange Miami Marlins visor and jersey.
The SunSentinel reports Maria Alonso pleaded guilty in federal court to issuing more than 1,000 fake checks to herself since 2009 and received a four-year sentence. She worked 17 years for Leavy.
Leavy wears his orange getup to games, which makes him noticeable on TV. The workers compensation attorney often buys several of the best seats and then treats random fans, just asking them that they pay the good deed forward.

Leavy (Marlins Man) was instrumental in the Astros run in the ALCS and World Series.
Nobody on TV saw the "Marlins," they only saw the orange and assumed he was an Astros fan.
Leavy even participated in wearing the "Devo" hats in Game 2 of the World Series when Devenski came to the mound, an idea sparked by LSU man (I do not know his name, only that he has a prosthetic leg and he is at every Astros game).

Marlins Man is very humble. He doesn’t look at material things like looks, it’s that kind of humbleness that attracts the supermodel ladies to his doorstep. But he shows them a good time for the troops and the first responders.
