There's no reason to have OU in that game over Texas. The rule is terrible.

And tell me why TX Tech doesn't deserve to be in a BCS bowl over UT?

They lost by 40. Anyone with eyes and a brain would not include TT in this discussion.

OK, let me get this correct. Texas scores on the last play of the game to beat a over-rated (#10) Ohio and Brown says the horns are the best team in the nation. Did I get this correct?

Not to UT. Same record as UT and head to head win. No conceivable way you can put UT ahead of Tech. The OU game doesn't matter as between UT and Tech.

I'm sure UT brought their A game, too. This was one of those situations where UT wanted to be in the BCSNC, while OSU just wanted to be in the Fiesta. You could tell by how hard each team played, too.

See Michigan, 2004 Rose Bowl versus USC (aka the "other national championship game" as deemed by ESPNABC that year... )

If I was a coach in Mack's position I would have said more than Im voting myself number 1 if they stuffed a mic in my face.

So you want to eliminate OU, because TT should be eliminated via OU's dominant performance?

So OU should have intentionally thrown some pick 6's to keep TT in the game, making your argument nill and void?

He fails to understand that I am merely throwing his faulty logic back at him.

Don't try to sound like you're smarter than you are.

Each has a loss.

TT lost by 40 on the road.
OU lost by 10 on a neutral site.
UT lost by 6 on the road.

Which loss sounds "better?" Anyone with a brain will say Texas.

Texas did not lose to TT because TT was better. Leading up to that game, Texas played:

#1 OU, who they beat by 10
#11 Mizzou, who they beat by 25
#6 OkST, who they beat by 6
@#7 TT, lost by 6

Did either TT or OU go through a stretch like that during the season? Was either OU or TT's loss by less than a TD?

It's a bullshite rule that benefits a team for fricking up early. OU got beat by a better team early in the season. UT got beat after the hardest four game stretch in the conference this year. TT got absolutely raped and does not deserve a say in the discussion.

I can actually tell you why Texas deserved it more by looking at the scores and games leading up. Can you give me a logical reason for OU going over UT, aside from the dumbass rule?

You can't.

Texas deserved it.

If you think about why I am telling you that Tech has a stronger claim to a BCS bowl than UT does, you will answer your own question.

You're avoiding everything by using the round robin argument. It's crap. You can't say that anyone other than UT deserved it by anything factual other than the dumbass 19th tiebreaker that got OU in.

I just told you that while UT may deserve it over OU, they don't over Tech. With 3 claims to the Big12 south, you can't conveniently say they deserve it over OU all the while ignoring Tech's clear advantage over UT. UT should be glad they made a BCS bowl game at all.

So you still think they all three equally deserve it, despite one team losing by THIRTY, 30, thurdee, 30, more than either of the other two teams?

That's retarded. That's sticking to the formula and not thinking of a logical way to separate them. Basically, they separated the teams by the time in which they lost, not by who, how, or where they lost, which is fricking retarded.

I'll repeat, ANYONE who believes TT deserves a spot in this conversation is mentally handicapped. Losing how they lost should always guarantee you nothing.

Edited for relevance. Did they agree to these rules that were in place to decide the tiebreaker before the start of the season?

The BCS contract says he has to vote the winner of the title game No. 1. How does he breach this?

The BCS contract says the winner of the BCS CG wins the coaches poll, it says nothing about individual voters. WTF are they going to do, not let him vote again? BFD.
