That's fair.

"Concerns" is alot different than "overrated" as many are saying. BTW, if he was ranked 242nd, how can he be overrated? If he were top 10 maybe they would be somewhat justified.

I've seen videos of him and Herro, and I think he's better than Herro. Quicker, more athletic, and can probably out-jump him despite a 5" deficit.

Is that all? Lol. 5"? That's a really big deal in basketball.

Not when the 6"1 guy is more athletic stronger, and a great leaper. There are many many ways, especially quickness, that are strong advantages in basketball.

Sorry, but they are not in the same class. Even Zion Williamson says Herro is the most underrated player in the class. Herro is way more athletic and smooth than you give him credit.

Nah, I corrected that earlier.

It's some summer league in DC called the Kenner League. Don't know where the players are from or where they're going play ball, but looks like some pretty good competition.

He'll have a tough time finishing near the basket when its 6'10 plus players defending and not 6'2 white kids.

He wont be asked to do that. You think the weaker, less athletic 6"5 guy will fair better in your scenario?

At pure point, give me the 6'1 guy

I think Herro is very good, but I think McClung is better.

I watched several videos of both, and was more impressed with McClung. Herro might be a better defender because of his height advantage, but McClung has a great verticle. I'd be willing to bet McClung has more blocked shots.

Glad you think so...but every single professional recruiting service says they are not close.

Dude is extremely athletic but I'm kinda with some of the other guys in questioning the level of competition.

Looked like he was going against at bunch of white kids his height or less mostly.

Level of competition makes evaluation so hard. Look at NBA Summer League or G League. Dudes tear it up and then get to the league and can't do dick because of size or athleticism limitations.

Even guys who prove it on the big stage in college like Jimmer Fredette or that dude from Gonzaga struggle big time when going against premier athletes.

He may turn out to be awesome but the days of just driving the lane and dunking on kids his own size are over.

At 6'1 it's a lot more important to be a lights out shooter than someone who just out athletes people.

And, he's going to have to learn to play off the ball. Georgetown's PG in this class is James Akinjo. McClung is NOT playing PG over him. At 6'1" with short arms, I don't care what his vertical is...he's going to struggle in the Big East.

Yeah, you're right. Recruiting services are never wrong.

I never said the kid a gonna be an NBA star or a college star.

I think he'll do well in college, but I'm not predicting All-American or anything. I think he'll be a solid college player at least.

lol...the exception fallacy. I love these arguments where the exception proves the rule.

Tom Brady was drafted in the 6th round!

You don't need to get a QB early in the draft.
