The guy that started for New England in 2020 actually had a worse supporting cast than Mac Jones now. Wrap your head around that for a minute.
Whats your point and how is it relevant?

Cam is old news. Time to quit trying to defend him.

This was due to both poor roster management and opt-outs due to Covid-19. He was given no slack for the roster around him, or lack thereof.
For Christ’s sake are you talking about cam?

Nobody will even employ him.

What are you getting at here?

We’re talking about if Mac is good or not.

Ok. He is not that good. Good to great QBs make the players around them better. You saw a perfect example of that in tonight’s game.

And there it is, still scorned by what happened to Cam.

They only won 7 games, Max went to playoffs the year after and has already won 6 this year.

Cam was pure dogshit, his arm was shot and never stood a chance outside of the offense that Carolina had tailored for him.

Mac is good

Idk what y’all are missing

I thought y’all would learn your lesson with Tua but clearly y’all just hate Alabama so much that you can’t help yourselves

If you could get on 1 person

Last year’s Tua or this year’s Mac.

You’re betting on which is a better QB.

Who do you take?

Also why were all of y’all so wrong about Tua?

DJ Moore by himself is 10x what the Pats have

Circle back to second post ITT.

The Bears and Panthers definitely have very poor supporting casts. The Panthers have DJ Moore and nobody else. The Titans, outside of Derrick Henry, are really bad at skill positions on offense.

You might want to check your math.

Mac Jones being garbage has nothing to do with Tua.

Fields can’t hit the broad side of a barn, he’s out.

DJ Moore would get 1200 yards with Mac, he’s 10x what these scrubs are. Titans have a completely different mindset. They are so much more physical than the Pats. Take a lap with these comparisons.

If you were honest, you’d compare the Pats to the Broncos, knowing you’re a fan. Hackett is just as much a hindrance to the Broncos as Patricia is to the Pats.

Also, NE isn’t all that bad with a supporting cast.

Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith form a really good duo at TE. Devante Parker, Kendrick Bourne, Jakobi Myers and Nelson Agholor are decent at WR. RB is solid in terms of ground and pound.

Yes, let’s discount his running ability. Let’s discount something he’s really fricking good at.

I bet you wouldn’t do the same with Jalen Hurts.

Denver has a much better supporting cast without question. The problem is, Javante Williams, Jerry Jeudy, Tim Patrick, KJ Hamler and Mike Boone are all hurt. Oh, and the starting LT, C and RT.

Of course, but we’re talking supporting casts, right?

BTW, I made a thread (that was just jumped) about Matt Patricia calling the NE offense before the season.

I’m not comparing the two in terms of passing. I’m telling you not to discount the rushing ability and production of a dual threat QB.

Even when everyone was healthy they were dogshit. The team, with the same supporting cast, plus Russell Wilson, is 10x worse this year than when they had Fangio and Bridgewater last year. It’s coaching.

Same with Mac. Same supporting cast, except Parker, you takeaway McDaniels and add a DC at OC in Patricia.

Both teams failures on offense this year are due to the coaching changes.

I don’t believe Russ is this bad, same way I don’t think Mac is bad.

Tua is proof. Flores was dogshit, McDaniel is good. It’s coaching.
