I pull for the Spurs because I lived in San Antonio before the Hornets moved to New Orleans.

I did not attend either school. The only tie to LSU I have is being from Louisiana and my wife graduated from there. That's the fun thing, I can cheer for whoever I want. I don't have to explain it, because no matter what I say, anyone will simply say bandwagon. But you know what. I will bandwagon my fat arse up to my south endzone seats in TS every fall, and bandwagon my fat arse in front of the TV anytime Carolina basketball is on the tube. I have fortunately seen them 2 times live in NOLA. And for the NBA, dad brought me up as a celtics fan. And just because the hornets are in louisiana for a little while is not a reason to drop my allegiance to the celtics.

adam we must disagree on this on. I became and ORLANDO MAGIC fan when shaq was drafted. I have remained a magic fan, I buy the nba leauge pass and watch every game. I recently went to the magic hornets game and sat courtside at midcourt. Me and my soon to be wife wore normal Magic attire. You know me adam and i must say it was the worst sporting experince of my life next to the last time i went to a magic hornet game.We were cussed, and even spit at.

At one point after after being cussed and spit at I told one guy that I was going home back to Baton rouge and i was going to hit my knees and pray for the worst storm hes ever seen. Funny thing is that I didnt feel bad. I have traveled to road games as a braves and saints and never seen this kind of abuse. Also adam you know that i have attended more LSU road sporting events than anyone on this board and I have seen the worst..

I became a Hornets fan in '88. I was 10 and they were a brand new franchise.
Even if I never go to a Hornets game, I am still a better fan than you because I am an original fan.
