I've been going to the Cajuns games now for the last four years since I gave up my LSU season tickets after retirement. I hated going to the games. They were awful. Coach Hud has turned things around. At last they play with fire. I really enjoyed the game Saturday night and I'll take the rain any day over the blast furnace of last year's opener in 99 degree sunshine.

I felt like we learned a little bit from UL's defense. Despite Lamar sucking, we had great pass rush and great run stopping for only 4 starters returning on D. Our guys played extremely intense and layed some really hard hits on Lamar receivers. I feel like UL has a real shot at going 10-2 or 9-3 if Gauthier can settle down a little and convert in the red zone.
