Well if he beats Rizzo, at least he goes out on a three fight win streak. Monson and Rizzo are a least decent names to add to his resume.

Unfortunately, I don't think so. Barnett is too well rounded, too smart, and too experienced. He'll get Cormier down and he'll sub him.

hes going to beat rizzo pretty bad imo.
when was the last time he had a fight? granted fedor fought a past prime jeff monson and a japanese can; he still fought. btw fedor could have finished monson in that first round.
as much as i hate to say it the times have past fedor. he will probably still do combat sambo tournaments in russia which he hardly loses.
would love to see him in abu dhabi though

do you think he takes cormier down? btw would cormier want to even be in his guard even though i know barnett is a catch wrestler not jiu jitsu. i have a feeling barnett will get the sub either way.

It's an interesting match-up for sure. It will be difficult for Barnett to sub such a great wrestler....but Barnett has a dominant mount and could catch him in an armbar or something if he gets good position. I think Cormier wins with his power, wrestling, and lack of roids for Barnett.

I don't think Barnett will just shoot in and get the take down, but I think he'll take him down from the clinch.

yeah i wouldnt expect barnett to go for the shoot makes not sense.
not when he can use leverage and bodyweight to get cormier near that cage and get him down
