Tonight was my first to see them in person. Probably should have been 5-1 or maybe 5-2. Poor fielding of a few balls gave HBU some chances at those runs. HBU also made some bad throws/missed catches that Tech capitalized on.

We'll see more tomorrow!

Kaleb Roper pitched a gem for the Wave yesterday, they beat Purdue 1-0. The boilermakers are a pretty good team, 8-2 with 3 hitters batting over .400 and their weekend starters have given up a combined 6 runs.

That's pretty funny. The batter called timeout after the pitcher began his windup and shouldnt have been granted the timeout. Definitely intentional on the pitcher's part

Tulane beats Purdue 6-2 to win the series. Big win after a tough week.

Tough mid week games for the green wave this week. Hosting ULL and Southern Miss followed with a series at Long Beach State next weekend. They should be able to win or sweep that one.

We're not a tough team to play if you can score 3 runs.

Super shitty to drop two to UNO and Southeastern.

At least you have pitching that won't usually give up many runs. I'm sure y'all have good hitters maybe it's just a slump. I googled this and can't come up with anything but has anyone tried to hire Robichaux from y'all?

I'm sure he's gotten offers in the past, but I don't see him ever coaching anywhere else. I think he'd be happy to just retire rather than leave.

At this point in his career and with the new facilities I don't either but he's been really successful at ULL and McNeese. Seems weird he never got an offer that would make him consider leaving.

Southeastern has been a good program lately, so I’m not that upset that we lost to them. The way we lost pissed me off though, scoring 12 runs and having the pen blow a huge lead (twice). We also got shelled by UNO which was disappointing. Our pitching was much better this weekend except for Saturday.

I’ve accepted the fact that we aren’t that good anymore, we no longer have the quality depth in our staff that we used to. I will say that we are playing much better than we were at this point last year though

Bump.

Tulane vs UL Lafayette baws. This is usually a good game although both teams are kind of down this year.
