I thought that was a myth that people only believed because it was being perpetuated by espn and other mass media outlets?

I understand you're saying he took the easy road by joining two other "superstars". Isn't it pretty obvious Wade and Bosh aren't superstars anymore?

He may have wanted to take the easy path, but you'd have a hard time convincing me it is working out the way he envisioned.

Even after the Heat lose, you still can't stop crying.

no. don't put words in my mouth.

people (bandwagon fans, front runners, low basketball IQ folks, etc.) are fans of the Heat because the media has told them to be. the media has made it fashionable to be a Heat fan. its sexy to be a Heat fan.

This team has been together for 3 years and they've been in the Finals every year. They may lose this series, but it's still early. If they happen to win, I'm sure all of them would be happy with winning 2 of 3 titles as a team.

Lebron had the talent to be a Jordan esque scorer in the right system, but he took the creatine road and got bulky and lost some quickness. He is now good at posting up SFs. He's good ateverything but not GREAT at any one facet of the game. TThat's his problem and it's something inherent in society as a whole. It is far better to be the best at something than good at many things

Can I ask what defines the Heat as a super team?

which adds even more proof to the point. if he was "the best ever" then he wouldn't need other superstars to bail him out. now that Bosh and Wade are fading out, LeBron is basically back in the Cleveland days needing someone to bail him out in crunch time.

You're assuming they lose the series and Lebron plays poorly the rest of the way.

We aren't there yet.

I just don't see why Lebron doesn't drive to the hole Everytime, he's so big and quick he's either going to score two or get free throws

That's what I've been thinking. I hate that he always uses his putter instead.

It can be hard to drive to the basket when an opposing defense packs the paint, or not defending you close up one on one.

Well if he shoots too many fee throws the refs and the league are cheating

its like he is scared to take over the game. look back when he took Cleveland to the finals in 07 and he did the same thing on several occasions.

I thought that Kobe was the worst "media darling superstar" that needed a big man to hold his hand every step of the way, but LeBron is getting close to that level as well.

One thing is certain; this thread is getting bumped no matter what happens the rest of the way.
