that station has the best unfiltered content on radio. the programming director doesn't censor the hosts like happens on the 4-letter network.

I find Patricks show boring and him trying to act much younger than he is annoying as hell. In fairness Ive only listened a couple of times though.

during his time living in a van down by the river he was OFFERED and ACCEPTED a job by a rather large media corporation.
His first day at the gig he proceeds to burn every possible bridge in the building..."your fat" "that format sucks" "I will be running this company in two weeks" "don't listen to these so called bosses"
final straw, he throws a hissy fit in the middle of the office about the name of his show. He starts crying. Says if he can't name HIS show what HE wants then why even do a show...
the company agreed and fired his arse after less than ONE DAY on the job
and I like shite stirring as much as the next guy but it was UNREAL, like something out of a really funny and off the wall movie, guy is mentally unstable plus he's been "accused" of some sexual issues at other gigs

hadn't heard about any of that. you can tell by some of his on-air rants how arrogant yet insecure he is, but when he's actually discussing a topic he is a very bright guy. definitely thinks outside of the box and isn't afraid to speak his mind. i wouldn't be surprised if he gets suspended or even fired from XM before his contract is up in a couple of years. quote:

it's way too regionalized.
ESPN gets regionalized every once in a while, but all of those shows are basically NY talk radio. I have no reason to listen to that crap. Plus Russo yells into the mic hours on end. Its terrible, to me.

they are often guilty of only talking about Giants/Jets/Yankees/Red Sox/Phillies.. but they get into the MLB playoffs (all the teams), college football, tennis, NBA, golf, etc.. I like it because they talk about bigger picture issues, not just stats, fantasy moves, whatever headline is on ESPN.com.

I love watching Dan Patrick and the Danettes on Direct Tv. The show is scripted with hillarious inside jokes from time to time and Dan pokes fun at the Danettes in a certain way that would make his idol, Howard Stern, proud.
Fritzy, Paulie, Seton, and McLovin bring different personalities and humor to the show. I give it 5/5 stars. No commerical breaks either. :)

the Danettes are almost unbearable.
definitely great for a mass audience.
