Georgia Southern has committed just five turnovers this season, which would be a new NCAA FBS single-season low if the Eagles can maintain their pace. The current NCAA record is eight turnovers in a season by six teams, last done by LSU in 2017.

They also lead the nation in turnover margin at plus 22.

Probably applies to basketball too!

Less turnovers, more wins.

Probably because they started running the triple option again.

Amazing stat for a team that runs the option and pitches the ball a good bit.

GSU had 10 fumbles this year, 10th in the country, and lost 5.

You tend to lose about half of your fumbles on average. Meanwhile, LSU is last in the country with a lost fumble rate of 77.78% (7/9).
