Curtis

Speaking of, does anyone know how many wins JT Curtis is away from tying McKissick (621)?

I think he started the season at 603?

Is that counting the forfeits that caused them to lose a state title?

Rather be caught with it than caught without it…

At 609 now, forfeits removed

Final Chalmette 40 Grace King 18…

Our defense played their best half of the season and held GK to a second half 0 in a game that was in doubt most of the way

I’ve never been so uncomfortable with a 22 point lead.

It was 28-18 at half time and they scored 0 in the second half. How is this mostly in doubt?

We scored right out of the break to make it 34-18. For most of the third quarter, if they get the next touchdown and a 2 point conversion, that makes it 34-26, a one possession game. We scored with 30 seconds left in the third quarter to make it 40-18, which ended up being the final.

Now that being said, it’s a better Grace King than it used to be, but it’s still Grace King. Still pretty embarrassing

I felt bad for “GK”

No dance team and no cheerleaders.

At a home game for them

Chalmette fans easily outnumbered GK fans by 10 to 1 or more.

Their 20 person band made some noise though. Credit to them
