I’ve asked you before and I understand not wanting to answer, but what association are you in?

Definitely a money losing venture for individual officials, but I can assure you that at least one of the two associations I’ve been affiliated with didn’t not have a high participation rate for meetings and very few were turning out for 10-12 hours (which seems high) of on-field training. And at hours of film and prep.

If LHSAA/LHSOA paid like Texas, percentage of the gate IIRC and obviously a larger population, you’d be looking at more people wanting to officiate and being better prepared.
