So the entire proposed 8-5A is appealing?

They want to stay the same…

We want the Northshore district

Karr wants back in the Catholic League (which tells me the money excuse the Catholic League was pushing was bullshite, or there’s a disconnect between their administration and coaches)

Warren Easton wants the JP district (they see easy wins to rebuild their program)

Can I assume "Ascension-Livingston" means they want to stay together?

I'm confused where the push came from to shuffle those two districts. When you add Pville that's a 7 team district. The EBR district would have 6. Seems simple enough.

There’s a Catholic poster on here who can explain it

That argument never made sense. Splitting the gate for all those games will bring more than the 15 fans that East Jefferson will bring with them

I thought Karr was pulling out because they weren't getting a share of the gate $ because most of the catholic schools sell tix online and not literally at the gate. I could be wrong...

ps - I'm replying to your post but I'm not the one who downvoted it.

So the student tickets is the main issue?

Scotlandville moving down to 4A next cycle so there are only five 5A EBRs left

Ahh, that makes sense. I still don't think it's necessary, but I understand the reasoning.
