We get Shaw rd 1 so we'll see how we stack up against Karr, 35, and StAug.

Could Byrd have gotten a tougher No. 30 opponent? West Jeff is a damn good team. Spent the first 5 weeks of the season ranked in the top 5.

are you asking me or telling me? i know debo was hurt in the west jeff game but dont know if hes going to sit out. didnt hear anything on stanton either. jesuit can handle themselves just fine in the first round without them but they will be needed later in the playoffs

Denham Springs got the hose again. Sent up to Ruston...1 seed away from being able to host a playoff game for the first time since 95.

The BR 5A districts are SO weak...I just hope the Jackets can make it out of the 1st round before having to get their arse handed to them by St. Pauls.

Seems that Jesuit is a decent bet (no matter how much it hurts me to say so) to make it to the Dome in 5A.
Gooood, goooooooood. Give in to your hatred.

Didnt get The hose. Beat central and host a playoff game and central doesn't get in.

Gotta take care of it on the field to ensure the best possible seeding

Carencro has scored the most points in 5A (45.7 ppg scored / 13.8 pts allowed). Jesuit has allowed 2nd least (36.8 ppg scored / 10.8 ppg allowed). Sounds like a tasty matchup.

Carencro's 2nd rnd opponent Ouachita has allowed the least points (36.8 ppg scored / 9.9 ppg allowed)

If both teams play 2 home games (Jes vs BM and Carencro vs Ouachita), then the quarterfinal should be in New Orleans, right?

I'm pretty sure central has a better shot at st.paul then Denham has going all the way to Ruston. St.paul won't make it past the second round. If Denham beats ruston they will take them out.

A key to that game will be how Debo Jones shoulder is going to hold up.There is talk that he wont play this week. If he isn't playing they have no chance to slow down Alex Johnson and Jones also is a receiver for them when needed.

No I didn't. Go back a read again

I said that denham did not get hosed. If they beat central then they would have gotten a home playoff game and central would be out of the playoffs.

They failed to beat central so they have to travel and central got in

Is this a joke? Denham has a much better chance of winning at Ruston than Central has of winning. Central could keep it close because they arent really a bad team, but I'm expecting a blow out.
