I don't want to get sucked into this conversation again, but...

D. Thomas and E. Decker - no one heard of them until Manning came along.

Joseph Addi was no slouch either.
He's so good that when left the Colts he got cut by the Patriots 1 week in to training camp

because they are in completely different situations, aside from starting with awesome defenses
So...you use the "different situations" argument to defend Brady when he played like Flacco...but ignore that argument when attacking Manning for not winning more in the playoffs when he was on teams with obviously atrocious defenses most of his career?

How many times were they pro-bowlers with Tebow?

but but but Brady is the catalyst I tell ya
no one thinks he was dragging NE to SBs. Though I would definitely call him the catalyst in 04 when he had a 111 qb rating in the playoffs against some good teams and won a second half shoot out against the panthers who people forget were really fricking good.
manning had a 101 rating in the postseason that year. It broke down like this
158.3
110
35
anyone want to sit here and tell me that brady isn't more consistent for his career in the postseason?

But lowly Drew Brees and the Saints faced this team twice at their house and performed better than PM on a neutral field in better weather.
Blind homerism. The Saints were blown the frick out on Monday night in the regular season. That game was over early. In the playoffs, the Saints defense played their arse off, and kept Drew Brees in the game. Drew Brees had career (with the Saints) lows until scoring 15 4th quarter points. Brees threw for about 200 fourth quarter yards to pad his stats.

I'm out.

nothing to do with their defense, that is just the only similarity...both flacco and brady had it so it isn't differentiating them
the difference is brady played under different rules with a much less talented group of offensive players...
I think those roids are shrinking more than just your prick.

They were in the NFL for 2 years before Peyton got there
Year 1: Backups to Eddie Royal and Brandon Lloyd
Year 2: 1163 yards combined
and FYI they had more games with Orton than Tebow

yup drew was just as embarrassed the first go, unlike manning, he got a second crack at them.
Though, drew didn't have the greatest season in NFL history. I love how manning cocksuckers build him up to god like levels and then when he crashes and burns so spectacularly, "he's only human"

but Thomas was fricking legit even with tebow, just because the MSB didn't want to recognize him didn't mean he was a slouch. He is a top wideout.

Well that's how you're acting...as if these receivers carried Manning as if he just came into the league and didn't have 15 years of proof where Manning made receiver after receiver great.
If you want to really pull out that argument then look at the outlier seasons Brady had with Moss and Welker and go ahead and throw those out while you're at it.

To say that no one heard of them before Peyton got there is flat out wrong.

Just imagine how good Brady could be if he had a receiver like Wes Welker and a tight end as good as Julian Thomas.
Also, I agree that Decker is above average at best.

ETA: Not worth the time. Just wanted to laugh at the "no one heard of them before Peyton" comment. Continue.

pad his stats
you mean how manning threw about 120 yards the last two drives against NOLA in the SB to pad his, or just the other night when he was the ultimate stat padder.
though I wouldn't call throwing the ball a shite ton getting blown out padding stats.

it really is a typically awesome day.
The only point I've made is that Brady plays more consistent in the playoffs, which is 100% true which is why that is what you chose to address.
