I'm a realist bruh. They have been terrible and haven't shown a damn thing. They deserve to be knocked down a few pegs.

From the head coach to the qb.

Don't like it, then ignore me and frick off.

Oregon is really missing Chip Kelly right about now...helfrich is nothing special and will be fired in a year or two.

I do, they aren't my team but I've followed them since I moved here in the late 80's. Do I not have the right to point and laugh when they deserve it?

I mean, hell, are you happy with the gators showing today? That was an embarrassment.

They deserve all the shite they get.

I don't see how Chip Kelly would do anything different. Oregon actually outgained Arizona by 16 yards, but they once again folded when they were smacked in the mouth by a strong running game.

I honestly think we've seen the ceiling for Oregon's football program.

You don't know much. Chip didn't lose a single game he wasn't supposed to. Every loss was to an actual good team. Zona gets credit today but Chip would not have lost.

Better play calling, and had the guys executing better. The guys were more fired up on the defensive side of the ball as well. We never had a loss like this in his four seasons. Would have had the guys more focused and making less mistakes.

Chip Kelly's teams played with focus and determination, and did not take the opposition for granted. We shat the bed last year against Stanford in OT, but nothing like this.

that's fine, i just found it kind of odd. They do deserve getting called out, based on today. no hard feelings

We did lose to USC in 2011. Guys fell down by 24 points early, dropping passes, missing tackles, before storming back in the 4th and losing on a missed fg.

Missed key blocks against Stanford last year. But yes, the point is that we never crapped the bed against a team that we were so much more talented than on paper. Guys were just dropping passes, not blocking well, missing tackles. No focus, and they seemed like they expected to win because they were Oregon. Chip never let a loss like this happen, and we went to four BCS straight BCS games in his four years.

The senior leaders on that 2010 and 2011 team (particularly in 2010) always had the guys dialed in.

I didn't consider SC an absolute win. All their losses were to good/great teams.

That 2010 team had the best result of the bunch, losing by a FG as time expired. The 2012 team arguably had the best defense of the bunch, leading the country in INTs and total takeaways, with NFL studs like Kiko Alonso and Dion Jordan in the front 7.

But this team is worse than all of Chip's teams. Maybe not on paper, but when it comes to focus and product on the field. Helfrich has to turn it around next year.

Agreed. We lost to a 10-2 SC that was no.5 or 6 I think in the AP poll in 2011, LSU in 2011, and Stanford who won the Rose Bowl and was a top 10 team.

We were never even close to losing to an unranked 6-4 team under Chip. Would have been 42-14 the other way.

USC in 11, who didn't even make a bowl game.
