re: Lesner's Victory speech

If anyone has a problem with Lesner I would like to see them do something about it. No one in the UFC can touch him right now and thats a fact. Fedor is a paper champion until he steps up and fights in the UFC. Right now Lesner is the baddest MMA fighter on the planet so IMO he can do whatever he wants.

Are you fricking serious?
Fedor is proven. He's beaten anybody that's been put in front of him.
Lesnar is fricking 4-1, with 1 loss to a mediocre challenger and Fedor is a "paper champion?"
This might be the most arse backwards logic I've ever seen. Congrats.

Until he wins in the UFC he is nothing. Saying Fedor is the best fighter ever is like saying Sadaharu Oh is the best Home Run hitter ever.

I guess we will have to disagree. Strongly.

Fedor about to fight Josh Barnett, who is better than anyone currently in the UFC HW class. So saying any organization other than the UFC is irrelevant isn't true for the HW division. This is definitely UFC's weakest class.

I agree with that, but does that still show class to be a fan watching athletes do something you obvisouly can't do and boo them?
I'm not disputing the fact that they have the right to do it, i just think it shows no class and no understanding of fighting to boo these guys because to you as a fan it's not to your liking. They have the same right to do it as Lesnar did even though Lesnar is a professional athlete.

was there to watch it live!
made the expo, the sport has come a LONG WAY...shook Bispings hand while he was walking through the Mandalay Bay lobby like you and me...even signed autographs...
but holy shite, i thought the dude was dead after Henderson cranked that bomb
as for Lesnar, love him hate him, that's why it's MMA and not just boxing or just martial arts...this sport is legit and here to stay...
as for sports villains, you dont think the "establishment" / whities went apeshit when Ali chunked his Olympic Gold medal?
until someone whoops Brock's arse he can talk all the shite he wants as far as I'm concerned...i mean get real peeps, i paid big money (you pay) to watch entertainment...give em all roids, shoot em up with speed and if they explode blood and guts all over the ring then i got my money's worth...
sportsmanship? who the frick really gives a flying rats arse, we all want Red Bull, 5hr energies and extreme sports entertainment, not guys handing out flowers and sissy figs spanking each other on the arse

Anyway, I don't know if Lesnar is really an a-hole or just a guy that isn't too bright and has a background in an industry where his actions post-fight would have been encouraged, even required.
In real life, assholes aren't nearly as much of a draw as a guy that people like or admire (all obviously my opinion only). Or maybe he's one of those guys that can do some stupid shite when the adrenaline and rush of the moment is hitting them.
I guess time will tell.

you douche bags don't know your history...
Muhamad Ali:
Clay built a reputation by correctly predicting the round in which he would "finish" several opponents, and by boasting before his triumphs.[3] Clay admitted he adopted the latter practice from "Gorgeous" George Wagner, a popular professional wrestling champion in the Los Angeles area who drew thousands of fans.[3] Often referred to as "the man you loved to hate," George could incite the crowd with a few heated remarks, and Ali followed suit.
dumb fricks

i'm stupid because i don't agree with you? Lots of people hated Ali. Brave man throwing out insults on a message board.
I'd rather watch fighters fight than a lot of theatics. That's just me (aka the douchebag)...

lots of people hated Ali? "In 1999, Ali was crowned "Sportsman of the Century" by Sports Illustrated and "Sports Personality of the Century" by the BBC"
i didn't like him either but don't deny his appeal and there is a direct correlation to then vs now

no shite, fedor would destroy mir an anyone else brock has faced.

Yes Fedor would beat everyone Brock has fought. Thought, the best fight would be Fedor vs. Coulture.
With that said, Brock will beat Fedor due to shear size and strength. Brock will take Fedor to the ground and hammer fist him just like Mir. Fedor's chances come when Brock shoots in, maybe able to catch him with a punch or a knee. Brock tends to lead with his head down, making him prone to not seeing a punch or knee. Another chance could be a arm bar or Kamora(please forgive the spelling of that), but thats a long shot considering Brocks massive upper body strength.
