this will be one big superstar team bosh wade and lebron just wondering if they have the players to back them up
Posted on 7/7/10 at 10:10 pm to catholictigerfan
so if all 3 go to MIA will they lose a game ever?

THey have Chalmers and Beasley now. That starting 5 would have to be the best in NBA history, even with those 2 and no true center. They drafted 3 decent guys and I really think Miami will have some vets willing to play for league minimum just to get on the gravy train.

How is the mothership not reporting this in any way?
I got an ESPN alert text saying, "Ric Bucher: LeBron James flew to Miami Wednesday night for a meeting with Heat president Pat Riley."
Looks like Gerry V is legit.

Yeah, they won't have a bench and I can't see them playing the whole game every other night

Lebron will leave Cleveland and then the Cavs will make the finals.

Ric Bucher apparently posted on Twitter that LeBron James was flying to Miami on Wednesday night to meet with Heat president Pat Riley.
The post is no longer showing and we're wondering if ESPN shut it down due to the 'big show' on Thursday night. If James is currently in Miami, it's big news and would give them the edge in landing him. But based on the fact the information is no longer available, it's anyone's guess as to where LeBron is right now

On espn.com, right above the search bar. Scroll over "myESPN." Then go to "Alerts" on the left hand side. It's amazing.

They will be in the lottery next season without Lebron.

I'm off the Lebron bandwagon. I bought this to compliment my new Serge Iblocka custom jersey:

This thread has been officially debunked:

LeBron James spent Wed evening (6-8:30 pm) playing pickup softball with friends/fam in Akron. A shortstop, he led his team to victory.

Not doubting you, but if that is true, then I wonder why ESPN sent out that text.

I don't know, but Bucher removed the post from his twitter account. The quote I posted is from Chris Broussard's:

not only did they send out the text, they scrolled it on the bottom as BREAKING NEWS.
If James is headed down there, he didn't want anyone to know about it. Personally, I think ESPN wants people to tune in tmrw night and not blow the announcement early.

I think Bucher did give it away.

I think you're right. Broussard I have a feeling was told to post that, as was the other guy told to DELETE his twitter post about LBJ in Miami.
ESPN wants those dollars tomorrow night.
