Braves have the largest fan base in the country, and we are the oldest continuous club. We'll be fine.

The Braves will get fans to show up this season because of the new stadium and that reason alone.

This is a lie fed to people by franchise owners who never want to pay for their own stadium. People show up to see winners. Period. People wanting to see the new stadium are almost always those who would already be going to a game or two anyway. Any new people the Braves might gain will be negated by fans who are now too far away to want to deal with traffic.

I don't need to know anything about Atlanta to know that the notion of people turning out in greater numbers to see a new stadium is PR BS 100% of the time.

Numbers don't back you up. Or common sense.

In case you don't know the traffic problems are supposed to be far worse around the new stadium.

They didn't even plan for it.

I respect DAT

In the way I admire Mississippi State fans and other supporters of lost causes.

BARVES just had a 6 handle dropped on them on opening day and remain winless. Think about that. Let that sink in.

Meanwhile the Stros are cruising at 1.000.

But it's okay, little guy. The '90s will be here before you know it.

They could barnstorm through Alabama, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee. There are a ton of Braves fans in all those states.

You should hope so, considering this was the pinnacle for Houston
