That is indeed a good one.Jacksonville defeated #1 Kentucky who only had one loss during the season in the Mideast Regional to go to the Final Four. Jacksonville had another guy along with Gilmore who was a 7 fter with a great name: Pembrooke Burrows.

1970 Final Four may be the one with the least number of 'name' programs at one time. Of course there was UCLA,then Jacksonville and St Bonaventure (with Bob Lanier) and New Mexico State (coached by future Illinois coach Lou Henson).
