It is fair, I agree. I'm on record as saying this is his do or die year at SC. Based on my assessment of the current data, I believe he will have success this season. "Success" benchmark for me (this season) falls within the 9-12 win range.

I'm thinking 10-2.

The sanctions will really kill USC's chances of winning much for some time though outside maybe the next couple of seasons.

If you're talking about as a head coach then he hasn't exactly had a huge sample size.

I am talking at ANY position. I haven't seen any class that is so jaw-dropping.

This year its 9-3 at best. losses to ND,The Ducks and Stanford for sure. And I am sure they will find a way to lose to somebody they should beat.

The classes he helped bring in at USC were pretty damn good.

I think they'll win at ND, and I think they'll beat Stanford, too.

You are giving Stanford more credit than they deserve. USC would have beaten ND last year if they didn't have to play Mustain.

Kiffin was with USC for a while. You can pretend he didn't bring in anyone, but it's not true.

Do you think randomly typing entire words in capital letters makes you look smart?

Just wait, Kiffin is due for a big infraction any minute now. He didn't all of a sudden become a saint.

Kiffin is a pretty solid coach

Where is there any evidence of this? Kiffin is nothing but hype, and the best he can hope for is to grow into the worthless hype that precedes him.

Lane Kiffen confirms everything I have always believed about USC , it's administration and it's fanbase.

I loved it last in February when the haters were in shock (they'd never admit awe) and could not understand how he pulled in the recruiting class he did.
