Landon Donovan is a Very Good Analyst

I would have never thought it from previous interviews I've heard with him. He always seemed very reserved, quiet, and monotone. But from his one game I've seen he is excellent. He's told me things I would never see on my own, has great insight into team USA, but is seemingly completely neutral to the point he's even criticizing USA's tactics and players. He's even brought some energy to the broadcast when he was yelling over the crowd and praising Argentina.

He is doing what a great analyst should, be concise, clear, honest, not annoying, and not over talking the broadcast.
