Now that I think about it kobe's percentage probably jumped up after 09-10

Hitting 6 can only help.

Honestly, the entire premise of the clutch argument is so pointless for me. I just love to watch buzzer beaters.

It would not let me edit my post for some reason, but I think that Kobe was around 31% and the league average was around 33%, but I could be way off.

Was that a serious question? On one hand you have a proven winner and clutch performer while on the other you have one of the most overrated players and worst closers in the history of the game. On top of that Brown is his coach. This had to be a joke. There are probably 50 players I'd rather have taking the last second shot for me before Lebron.

Well, apparently the guy from 82games has worked for the Mavs for a few years now. I'm going to give him credit for the championship and proclaim this a victory for stat geeks everywhere.

I have to disagree here. Wouldn't the Heat with two of the three best statistical players in the game be supported, in terms of numbers not allegience, by stat geeks?

Why wouldn't he pick Kobe over LeBron?

Because not only is Kobe not better than Lebron, Kobe is below average in that exact situation?

I also could be way off lol...

But I know Abbott wrote an article this season crunching the numbers all the way back to 96-97, so virtually every players' entire career.

I think the league average was 28%, and Kobe was 25%.

Lebron around 31%, Dirk at 38%.

Abbott has a tweet on it, but no twitter for me at work, and my Iphone is too damn slow for me to try and find it lol.
