McNeese has an abysmal road record.

I don't mind dropping a series to a good Sam Houston State team, but damn, they've got to get better on the road.

SLU with a nice 16-2 win over Tulane. The bats have finally come alive, hopefully it's not too late.

Really good win for the Lions. I think SLU can take Sam Houston this weekend.

With Houston Baptist at UNO there is a good opportunity for the Lions to move into either 2nd or 3rd in conference.

Would be huge. The HBU losses don't sting as bad now, but being swept is never good.

ULM falls to Ole Miss 5-3 in the only in-state game tonight. Rough year for the Warhawks.

Clutch walk off single in the bottom of the 11th gives the Lions a 2-1 win against Sam in the series opener!!!!! Scroeler pitched a beauty going into the 10th, and saved our bullpen for the rest of the weekend.

Conference and home records are astounding. 1 home loss all year. Road record is pitiful. I don't get it.

Southeastern can take over 2nd place with a win today.

Demons are virtually eliminated from post-season after a pretty bad showing yesterday. NSU now 5 games out of the tourney with 8 games left. Would take a miracle.

Tulane has seemingly fallen apart after it looked as if they had turned the season around.

SLU with a 3-2 win today on a 2 run double in the bottom of the 8th. Brings us into second in the conference. With MSU losing, we still theoretically have a chance at finishing first in conference, but would take a complete MSU meltdown.

Speaking of which, Tech is losing QBs like they are Texas aTm. WTF is that about?

Oh we have a really good sophomore qb and and an incoming juco guy that's supposed to be good so I think Abraham and the other dude thought they would never have a chance to play.

But to your point... yeah we would really suck if jmar got hurt

J'mar Smith will only be a redshirt sophomore next year and is currently the no.1 quarterback on the depth chart. I guess Wilson and Abraham figured they couldn't pass Smith on the depth chart to be the starter and wanted to play right away. It makes me appreciate players like Colby Cameron and Ryan Higgins a lot. They stayed and competed and eventually became the starters and did well. Tech has a really good Freshman coming in next year in Elijah Walker and just signed a juco named Westin Elliott who is 6'5" and 230. They could also move Jon Randall Belton back to Quarterback if they get in a bind.
