Toughest people on the planet live in the Caucasus in my humble opinion. Between the terrain, climate and political conflict, it is not an easy life.

What I believe is that, assuming there are some threats or whatever, when they get back to a safe location they are (or would) report any shenanigans. This would get out within USADA (or whoever is doing the testing) which would leak to the fighters and the press, and so on.

Apparently there's more to all of this. I'm basing all of this on the Jesse on Fire channel on YouTube. Video below.
- Report that Khabib has fled Russia. Went to UAE and got citizenship there with no plans to go back to Russia. This apparently happened prior to the terror attacks in Dagestan.
- Russian billionaire (Magomedov) Khabib was connected to was arrested, billions in assets seized by Russia, sent to prison for like 19 yrs.
- Reports that Khabib owes back taxes equal to about $3.3M. This is what prompted him to leave Russia and go to UAE.
- Guy says that some of Khabib's assets have been seized by Russia, like Eagle FC, and bank accounts.
- After the terror attacks in Dagestan, Khabib condemned the attacks and said the guy that participated in them trained at his gym briefly, but a long time ago. However, some people that were currently at the gym seemed to have constant communication with him. Then FSB says all MMA gyms in Dagestan are getting looked at, so it does not appear that Khabib's gym is some hotbed or terrorist training ground.

I spoke with Khabib once for a minute or two. Just a random and unlikely encounter. This is topic I know nothing about, no clue what his ties might be, but he felt dangerous. I didn’t expect that.

There have been lots or rumors for a while that Khabib needed money.... That's why he got back into coaching shortly after he said he was going to step away and go spend time with his family and raise his kids.
The UAE stuff is wild. They took Khamzat and now sheltering Khabib. Also feels like every Dagestan gym is just filled with terrorists. I mean, its kind of only natural I guess.
What's really wild is that DC sent his entire HS wrestling team over to Dagestan a couple years ago for two months to train. That's an extremely dangerous place. Still can't believe they all went.
