I’m waking up at 5 to go ride my 2 then run so I can spend the day in bed with champagne watching derby day

the nbc broadcast is god awful. they show none of the paddock or tote board. they do about a 30 second preview for each race and spend all their time talking about bullshite.

Headed to LA Downs after lunch to bet the Derby.
Like Essential Quality obviously, but Burbonic is my exacta horse with him as of now after his last finish. I’m going to box them in case of an upset, but I think Essential Quality wins and Burbonic multiplies the payout in 2nd big time out of the 20 hole.

stidham had him for 1 race the NOC. then right back to baffert.
